Players costing $6,667 or under

Noah Vonleh (at CHA – $6,600): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Vonleh was down to 14.3 fantasy points against the Heat on Sunday. Not a ringing endorsement coming into this game but the Hornets frontcourt isn’t great and Vonleh had been playing well prior to Sunday. I’m willing to chalk up Sunday to a rough night and move on. He had 40.7 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 14 if you’re looking for some confidence in him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Jayson Tatum (vs BKN – $6,500): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. Tatum was up to 33.5 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 26. And now he enters into a matchup that he’s done very well against this year. He’s averaging 44.7 fantasy points in two games against the Nets this season and was up to 56.5 fantasy points against them on Jan. 14. His scoring and rebounding numbers should be there in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs NY – $5,400): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Williams had 26.6 fantasy points against the Bucks on Jan. 25. He’s been a bit cold s that game was a nice return to form for him. And now he has a good opportunity to keep it going against a matchup he’s done very well against this season. He had 33.5 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 14. He’ll deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
