Portland is poised to return to the playoffs again, but have to deal with their normal hurdle of adding wing talent alongside CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard. With the emergence of Jusuf Nurkic as a reliable big man, both on offense and defense, the Trail Blazers ought to be looking for more wings that they can rotate in with Al-Farouq Aminu, Mo Harkless, Jake Layman, and Evan Turner. Powell isn’t part of the rotation in Toronto, but that seems like it’s more of a personnel issue than a talent issue.

For Toronto, it makes sense to take a chance on a young big , especially one that can space the floor like Leonard. He doesn’t have quite the ceiling of Zach Collins, but he can be a guy that the Raptors can bring in off the bench for a couple minutes a night, and can put on the floor for six personal fouls in the playoffs.
