2. Chris Conley, wide receiver

Now that the Browns have their franchise quarterback and an offensive-minded head coach, the next step of the process is to build up their talent at the skill positions. They invested draft capital to bring in Jarvis Landry before the 2018 season, and along with the development of David Njoku, Nick Chubb and some of their young receivers, their offensive looks more than capable heading into next season.

While they could certainly explore the receiver market in the draft (N’Keal Harry and DK Metcalf could be two names to keep an eye on), one player who could fit their 2019 plans is Chiefs wideout, Chris Conley.

General manager John Dorsey is no stranger to Conley, having drafted the Georgia speedster with his third-round selection back in 2015 during his tenure with Kansas City.

Conley is an electric athlete with size whom Freddie Kitchens would find plenty of ways to use in the Browns’ offense next season. He hasn’t had much of a chance to showcase his skills in a loaded Kansas City offense during his time in the NFL, but he could shine with an expanded role in Cleveland.

Dorsey knows exactly what type of player and person that Conley is, and pairing him with another receiver via the draft could give the Browns one of the best offenses in the entire NFL in 2019.
