High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (vs OKC – $9,500): Needs 44.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.25 fantasy points against Houston. Vucevic continues to deliver for the Magic and even though he’ll have his hands full against Steven Adams, I’m not going to doubt him at this point. And once again, weird things happen when the Thunder travel to Orlando. Vucevic should be in for his usual strong outing in this game as Adams does struggle against white centers whose last name ends in C. Trust me, it’s a thing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Joel Embiid (at LAL – $10,200): Needs 48.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.25 fantasy points against Embiid will be back in the lineup for this one and he gets the Lakers. Not only does he get the Lakers but he gets a Lakers squad with a lot of uncertainty with these trade rumors swirling. Embiid has been fantastic all season and should have no issue posting his usual big game in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Steven Adams (at ORL – $6,500): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. You know what you’re getting from Adams on most nights. He’s turned into a fairly reliable option and his ceiling increases if Westbrook doesn’t steal so many rebounds and he’s able to get a double-double. The Thunder run more through him than you may think and his scoring will typically be there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
