High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jahlil Okafor (at HOU – $6,100): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. I’m taking Jahlil Okafor until they trade Jahlil Okafor in their effort to trade literally everyone on the team. And if Randle is out, that’s even better for Okafor’s value. He’s been very good on the offensive end with Davis out and the Pelicans will need offense in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at DET – $5,600): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lopez has been a bit up-and-down in recent games but this is a matchup he’s consistently gotten the better of. He’s averaging 31.9 fantasy points in his last four games against the Pistons. And he never lacks for shots in the Bucks offense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Thomas Bryant (at CLE – $5,500): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against San Antonio. Bryant has been a bit inconsistent but the minutes and opportunities are usually there as the Wizards need something from their frontcourt. And they get a game against the Cavaliers. This should be a strong outing for Bryant and I like him better than Lopez just due to his rebounding ability to go along with his scoring. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
