DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 29, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Paul George (at ORL – $9,800): Needs 43.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 65.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. As always, you know what you’re getting with George. The scoring numbers will be there and he always chips in with rebounds and assists. George is playing like an MVP and he’s been huge just about every night in DFS. You can count on him to deliver, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (at DET – $10,700): Needs 47.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. It wasn’t even a good night for Gainnis against the Thunder and he still produced strong numbers in DFS terms. Much like PG is PG, Giannis is Giannis. And this is going to be an angry Giannis after his performance against the Thunder. He’ll dominate the Pistons, even if his minutes are limited in what might end up being a blowout. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Aaron Gordon (vs OKC – $6,700): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Houston. Gordon has played well in his last two games but he’s still an inconsistent option. That said, this is a matchup he typically plays well against. He had a monster 78.75 fantasy point effort against the Thunder last season and a 38.75 fantasy point game in the rematch. As I said earlier, weird things happen when the Thunder travel to Orlando. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
