High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (at LAL – $11,600): Needs 52.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.3 fantasy points against San Antonio. Embiid will be back in the lineup in this game and he returns against a poor Lakers squad. Butler is expected back as well, which may limit him because Butler might try to show out in Los Angeles. But Embiid has been the better player all season and the Lakers will have no answer for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (vs OKC – $10,200): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.9 fantasy points against Houston. I fully expect Vucevic to have a monster game. Like a triple-double where he doesn’t miss a shot. He’ll have his hands full with Steven Adams but Adams has trouble with white centers whose last name ends in C. Trust me, it’s a thing. Vucevic will have his usual outing if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jahlil Okafor (at HOU – $7,200): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against San Antonio. Okafor continues to deliver for the Pelicans and while I have no clue what to expect from them as a team, I full expect him to deliver in this game, especially if Randle is out. Okafor is playing for his career seemingly every night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
