High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs NO – $13,900): Needs 59.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 69.2 fantasy points against Orlando. It’s Harden. The salary doesn’t matter. You can take him and get at least 50 fantasy points. You can take those guaranteed points, even if you’re overspending to get them. And it’s the Pelicans, which is a good matchup and the Pelicans are in a very strange place right now. But we’ll get to them later. Diagnosis: Very reliable but salary can limit ceiling. It’s still Harden.

Jrue Holiday (at HOU – $9,500): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.9 fantasy points against San Antonio. It’s later. I don’t know how the Pelicans are going to play in this game. It’s a semi-decent matchup and Holiday has been reliable the entire season. But this is the first game since the trade request and I really don’t know where their heads are going to be at. Especially Holiday’s. Diagnosis: I’m going to trust that he delivers his typical outing. You can always go with Beal but that might be a blowout. This might be a blowout as well.

D’Angelo Russell (vs CHI – $8,600): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.4 fantasy points against Boston. Russell looked more like himself against the Celtics and still didn’t quite look like himself. This is a game for him to really get back on track because the Bulls are not good and Russell will continue to run the show with the injuries to the Nets. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
