2019 NFL mock draft: Quinnen Williams goes No. 1 overall

Many expected the Kansas City Chiefs to win the AFC the season, as first-year starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes took the NFL by storm. Taking over for Alex Smith, who led the team to three straight AFC West titles, Mahomes shredded NFL defenses, throwing for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns.
After beating the Indianapolis Colts at home in the Divisional Round, the Chiefs took on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Unfortunately, the Chiefs season came to an end in front of their home fans, as Tom Brady and company punched their ticket to their third straight Super Bowl.
As they head into the 2019 season, there is a lot to like about this Chiefs team, as they should have one of the more balanced rosters in all of football. However, the defense really struggled in the secondary last season, as the loss of Marcus Peters proved to be a big one, so that is where they should utilize their first round pick in 2019.
One player who really stood out during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game was Trayvon Mullen from Clemson, who could hear his name called in the first round this April. Mullen is a guy who could step right in as a starter in Kansas City next year, and if they can get better against the pass in 2019, they should be one of the best teams in football once again.
