2019 NFL mock draft: Quinnen Williams goes No. 1 overall
By Brad Weiss
The Buffalo Bills finally made it back to the playoffs last season, ending a drought that saw them not make the postseason since 1999. In the 2018 NFL Draft, they traded up to get their franchise quarterback, selecting Josh Allen from Wyoming, who has a very big arm, and very little accuracy at this point.
Still, Allen started to really find his groove as the season wore on, and it is clear that he has the potential to be a franchise guy at the NFL level. While the Bills certainly need help on both sides of the ball, adding talent to the offensive line is so important, as Allen missed time as a rookie due to how many shots he took.
In this draft class, there are a few guys who could be left tackles at the NFL level, and Greg Little from Ole Miss is certainly one of them. He would be a welcome addition to this Bills offensive line, which really struggled last season, as the team failed to make the playoffs, and was one of the worst in football.
Buffalo has some nice pieces in place moving forward, but will have to make a decision on running back LeSean McCoy’s future with the team after the 2019 NFL season. Making sure a solid offensive line is in place will be crucial to them landing some free agents, and in Little, they would be getting a solid player who can contribute in year one.
