Players costing $6,250 or under

Terry Rozier (vs CHA – $6,100): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Brooklyn. As long as Kyrie is out, you can continue to take Rozier with confidence. His salary has jumped up but it’s not quite high enough compared to what he usually delivers. The Hornets are a good matchup as well given their defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dennis Smith Jr (at NY – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against Toronto. DSJ has been solid since returning to the lineup. His salary has jumped up there but I’m not too concerned given that he’s playing the Knicks. If nothing else, he’ll get you value in this game. But I would expect more from him as this might be a bit of a showcase game for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Jerryd Bayless (vs MEM – $5,000): Needs 23.1 fantasy points LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Utah. The Timberwolves still have no point guards so you can take Bayless with confidence. The Grizzlies are a solid defensive team when they want to be but an absolute mess on most nights. And someone has to get these points for Minnesota. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
