Players costing $6,250 or under

Thaddeus Young (at WAS – $5,600): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Golden State. It’s been a rough couple of games for Young and his minutes have been down, which is a bit concerning. But this is a great matchup with the Wizards not being all that good and them being on a back-to-back. I’m going to give Young this game to return to form. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (vs ATL – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. MB3 has seen his minutes drop a bit but he’s still been putting up solid value even in limited minutes. I expect his minutes to jump back up in this one given the matchup. And if his minutes are up, he’ll post a big game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Derrick Favors (at POR – $5,300): Needs 24.5 fantasy points LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. Favors has been reliable even in limited minutes. He had 31.25 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 21. His points and rebounds are usually there and he’s a low-end double-double threat. These two teams will battle in a big way once again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
