High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs ATL – $6,600): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.2 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Bogdanovic has been fairly reliable during this recent stretch, just having a rough game against the Grizzlies. The Hawks are not the Grizzlies. Not that the Grizzlies are any good. I love this matchup for both teams given the pace that both teams usually play at. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Smart (vs CHA – $5,700): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. This is all about the circumstances. Smart is an inconsistent option on most nights but when Kyrie is out, he handles more of the playmaking duties because Rozier has never met a pick-and-roll he liked. So if Kyrie is out, you can take him with confidence in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling if Kyrie doesn’t play.

Malik Beasley (at NO – $4,300): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.1 fantasy points against Memphis. With Murray still out of the lineup, Beasley will continue to get good minutes coming off the bench. And the matchup is a good one as the Pelicans perimeter game isn’t good and they are on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
