FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 30, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Otto Porter Jr (vs IND – $7,000): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.6 fantasy points against Cleveland. Maybe the bloom is off the rose with Otto Porter. He’s been cold for a handful of fames now and he couldn’t turn it around against the Cavaliers, which is not a good sign. And now the Wizards are on a back-to-back. It’s a rough night at small forward and Porter Jr isn’t worth it with all the value and cost-saving options on the table. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
Josh Richardson (vs CHI – $6,500): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.6 fantasy points against New York. Richardson hasn’t been great in recent games but there are some things working in his favor in this one. First, it’s the Bulls. Second, it’s the Bulls on a back-to-back. Third, he’s averaging 36.3 fantasy points in two games against the Bulls this season. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Will Barton (at NO – $6,500): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Memphis. With Murray out of the lineup, Barton will continue to get big minutes as a starter. He hasn’t quite found his rhythm since the injury but the opportunities are there and there were positive signs against the Grizzlies. And the Pelicans are a good matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
