High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at SAC – $8,000): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.2 fantasy points against LA Clippers. I still don’t like Collins at this salary because he hasn’t consistently hit this number for a couple of weeks. But there are positive signs in this game. The biggest positive is that it’s the Kings and the pace will be up in this one. I like Collins to show his ceiling in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (at MIA – $7,400): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.3 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Markkanen stayed hot against the Nets and until I see him cool off, I will continue to ride the hot hand. The Heat can be a tough matchup and it is a back-to-back for the Bulls but your options are limited at power forward and Markkanen will get the minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Red hot, reliable and a high ceiling.

Jayson Tatum (vs CHA – $6,600): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.7 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Tatum had a rough outing against the Nets despite Kyrie not being in the lineup which is a bit concerning. But if Kyrie is out once again, Tatum is still the lead guy when it comes to scoring and he comes up with rebounds. I also like this matchup for him given the state of the Hornets defense. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
