NFL Draft 2019: Top 32 prospects – Post-Senior Bowl edition
By Conor Dorney
Had you not been paying close attention to the introduction of this article, you may think that I’m just listing former Clemson players at this point. But, alas, it still is a ranking of the top 32 prospects for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins is yet another highly skilled Tigers defensive lineman and should also hear his name called in the first round come April. While his ceiling is lower than that of my third-ranked prospect, Ed Oliver, Wilkins still offers plenty of upside and has been a force at Clemson since his true freshman season.
I wrote in-depth about what Wilkins can do as a player last season, and after returning for his senior season, he managed to win a national title and post the best statistical season of his illustrious college career.
While he may not have the length of some of the other interior line prospects in this class, I love Wilkins’ all-around game and an excellent motor that should make him a valuable contributor at the next level.
