While the aforementioned Dillard is more about finesse, Oklahoma’s Cody Ford is the type of powerful, agile player who should excel at right tackle in the NFL.

Ford figures to be one of the best-testing offensive linemen from the 2019 class, as his athleticism and quickness are readily apparent on tape. That agility allows him to position himself well in pass protection against both speed and power rushes, as well as move in space in the run game.

With just one year of experience as a full-time starter under his belt, Ford still has a little ways to go from a technique and consistency standpoint. As good of an athlete as he is, he will still need to refine his footwork to succeed against the speed he will see at the NFL level.

Overall, Ford is the type of player who may not have much tape but you love what you do see. For a team that is willing to be patient with his development, he could soon become one of the best right tackles in the NFL.
