The owner of a streak of 50 consecutive games started while in college, Kansas State’s Dalton Risner is a player who could very well see himself in the first round conversation on draft day.

Risner excelled at right tackle over the past three seasons for the Wildcats and after making a good impression at the Senior Bowl, has cemented himself as one of the best offensive line prospects in the 2019 class.

Risner will get knocked for his ability in pass protection and isn’t the most athletic of the offensive line prospects, but he certainly makes up with it with his domination in the run game. He excels at handling power and is absurdly strong with a dash of nastiness to go with it.

It’s reasonable to project Risner to move to guard at the next level, where he could become a Pro Bowl-caliber talent almost immediately. He’ll add even more value if he’s able to stay at tackle, but overall, Risner has the awareness, mauling mentality and nasty streak to turn himself into a day one starter in the NFL.
