16. Channing Tatum, Alabama Crimson Tide

Not surprisingly, one of the most athletic looking actors in Hollywood, Channing Tatum, actually had a little bit of an athletic career of his own. Just as he portrayed in the film 22 Jump Street alongside Jonah Hill, Tatum played college football, receiving a scholarship to play at Glenville State, Tatum’s precursor to his acting career was actually him being on the gridiron himself.

Glenville State, however, isn’t where Tatum’s fandom aligns itself. Instead, the acclaimed actor and Hollywood heartthrob is a massive fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. The star of such movies as the Jump Street films, Step Up and Magic Mike, Tatum was born in Cullman, AL and has been a fan of the Crimson Tide for all his life.

If you look at paparazzi photos throughout the years of the celebrity actor, you’ll certainly find some of Tatum donning some sort of Alabama gear. He doesn’t hide his fandom at all, even if he’s not in attendance all that often. Of course, he’s a pretty active actor, so it makes sense that sometimes his schedule just doesn’t allow him to head down to Tuscaloosa to watch his favorite team play.

Even still, Tatum finds ways to stay vocal about who he supports in the collegiate ranks of football. He’s been heard yelling “Roll Tide” in numerous interviews and television appearances throughout his acting career, which is what any good, diehard Alabama fan would do. And really, with the success that the team has had under Nick Saban, what’s not to be proud of as a fan?
