12. Katy Perry, Ole Miss Rebels

Katy Perry is one of the biggest pop music sensations of the past few decades. With such hits like “Firework” and “E.T” making her a monster star in the music world, she has done some incredible work in regards to activism and simply trying to make the world a better place. Having said that, Perry also has tried to add some fun to the college football world in recent years as a fan of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Interestingly enough, it’s hard to totally pinpoint where Perry’s fandom regarding Ole Miss comes from. Perhaps it’s the fact that her manager is a fan of the Rebels, or maybe it’s something else. What is for sure, though, is that she has established herself as a big fan of Ole Miss in recent years and has done so in a can’t-miss way.

This, of course, all started as she was a guest picker on College GameDay where she picked the Rebels to upset the vaunted Alabama Crimson Tide. Not only that, she took the elephant headgear right off of Lee Corse when he picked Bama to get the win in the game. And if that weren’t enough, when she was right in her pick of the Rebels, she partied hard with the Ole Miss faithful to celebrate the upset win over the Tide.

Perry is truly one of the most interesting inclusions on this list, largely just because of the hard-to-trace origins of her fandom. Even still, there’s no questioning her passion that’s been put on display.
