High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Serge Ibaka (vs MIL – $6,100): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.25 fantasy points against Dallas. Ibaka continues to play well and he gets a matchup he has played very well against this season. He’s averaging 45.2 fantasy points in three games against the Bucks this season. This just appears to be his matchup and I’ll trust him to deliver again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

JaVale McGee (at LAC – $4,500): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It was McGee’s turn to have the big night for the Lakers center rotation. One of McGee or Zubac will deliver but figuring out which one is tough. Zubac starts so that should be better for his value but the Lakers starting lineup isn’t exactly good. And McGee is better at just making random plays. I’ll stick with McGee in this one. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs PHI – $3,900): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.75 fantasy points against Indiana. And if you want to save money on a Warrior, Looney is a good option. He’ll continue to get minutes, even with the Warriors back to five All-Stars. And he’s become the second most reliable off the bench behind Iguodala. He remains at a good salary given the team he’s on. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
