High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (at TOR – $5,700): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.7 fantasy points against Detroit. Lopez has been running hot in recent games but he’s been up-and-down in the three games against the Raptors this season. The minutes will be there and he rarely lacks for shots, which is the good news. But his dud potential is higher than you’d like. Diagnosis: Slightly inconsistent with a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (vs PHI – $4,700): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Indiana. Looney will continue to see decent minutes even with Draymond back in the lineup. He’s the second most reliable guy off the bench and if Cousins is still restricted when it comes to minutes, Looney will have to pick up those minutes to try and defend Embiid, even for short stretches. He should get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable.

JaVale McGee (at LAC – $4,700): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.3 fantasy points against Philadelphia. One of Zubac or McGee will get it done in this matchup. McGee had the big game last time out but Zubac, as the starter, could end up with more minutes and opportunities. The matchup is very good as the Clippers struggle against the position. McGee has a better habit of just making plays. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
