High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Pascal Siakam (vs MIL – $6,500): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Dallas. Siakam has cooled off a bit but he remains at a good salary given his usual production. And much like Ibaka, he’s been great in this matchup. He’s averaging 43.1 fantasy points in three games against the Bucks this season. I’m going to trust him against this matchup once again since he hasn’t led me wrong yet. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Thaddeus Young (at ORL – $5,900): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.9 fantasy points against Washington. It’s rough for the Pacers right now. At some point, they will turn it around. They’ve played without Oladipo before (and the loss of Evans doesn’t help) but as I said when the injury happened, it’s just different knowing that a guy is coming back and when a guy is done for the year. But I like this game for the Pacers and Young should get at least value. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (at SA – $4,500): Needs 19.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.8 fantasy points against Chicago. There’s a bit drop at power forward after Young but if you’re looking to save salary and still get some decent production, Hollis-Jefferson is your best option. He typically gets decent enough minutes and he’s played well enough in recent contests. And he might be the role player who steps up since the Spurs do a good job of taking away top options. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
