DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 1, 2019
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Dewayne Dedmon (at UTA – $5,400): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.25 fantasy points against Sacramento. It wasn’t a great game for Dedmon against the the Kings but I’m not too worried. His minutes should be up in this one as the Jazz have a lot of size in their frontcourt and Dedmon should see more opportunities. I’m going to trust him to bounce back with a solid outing in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
Derrick Favors (vs ATL – $5,100): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.75 fantasy points against Portland. It was a rough outing for everyone on the Jazz against the Blazers. But they have a big chance to bounce back against a very good matchup against the Hawks. Favors still doesn’t play a ton of minutes but I like him more than Dedmon in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Nerlens Noel (at MIA – $3,900): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Orlando. If Steven Adams is out once again, you can take Noel with confidence. He is going to get big minutes and he’s in a good position to succeed given how the Thunder play. He’s also just a guy who happens to make plays. If Adams plays he’s much more of a risk but he’ll get minutes and has shown a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Adams doesn’t play.
