High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Allonzo Trier (vs BOS – $5,400): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Look, I don’t know what the Knicks are doing. The Knicks don’t know what the Knicks are doing. But I do know that they aren’t going to have much of a squad, especially at the guard position, and that Trier is surely going to eat minutes and get chances. Maybe. Who knows. The Knicks are weird. Diagnosis: Circumstances could lead to a big game.

Monte Morris (vs HOU – $5,100): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Morris drew the start in the last game and if he starts again you can take him with confidence. I still don’t like Houston’s defense and if they are missing Paul again, they’ll get gassed trying to chase the Nuggets around. And the Nuggets offense, especially the starters, will always hum. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (at MIA – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Orlando. Schroder has been all over the place this season but he’s coming off two strong performances, his salary is at a nice place and he never lacks for opportunities or shots. And Miami isn’t lighting the world on fire right now. If nothing else, Schroder should get you value at this salary. And if Terrence Ferguson is out once again that’ll be good for his value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
