High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at DEN – $12,900): Needs 59.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 71.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. It’s James Harden. And Chris Paul could be out again which means that Harden will take all the shots again. The matchup is tough but his salary has actually lowered and he’s been delivering nearly every night. And you’re getting at least 50 fantasy points out of him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs ATL – $8,800): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Portland. Chalk up the Portland game to an off night and move on. He’s been playing great basketball and the matchup is much better for him in this game. The Hawks play with a lot of pace, leading to plenty of DFS opportunities for opposing teams. And while the Jazz don’t play with as much pace, Mitchell is their top guy for a reason. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Will Barton (vs HOU – $6,600): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.25 fantasy points against New Orleans. Barton remains inconsistent since coming off the injury. The emergence of Morris in the starting lineup ends up hurting his value and his salary remains a bit too high given his minutes right now. The matchup is good but I wouldn’t trust him. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
