High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

John Collins (at UTA – $7,400): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. How is Collins salary still this high? His minutes were down against the Kings and now he enters into a tough matchup against the Jazz. I don’t like anything about this outside of just me really liking Collins as a player. But in DFS terms, I don’t like anything about this. But maybe this is where he surprises. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

Al Horford (at NY – $7,000): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. Horford continues to deliver for the Celtics and now he gets the Knicks. Kyrie being back will limit him a little because less of the offense will run through him. But it’s the Knicks. And it’s a Knicks team with no direction except for the summer at the moment. A blowout would be the only limiting thing for him in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a lowered ceiling due to blowout potential.

Kenneth Faried (at DEN – $6,900): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Faried is back in Denver and you know he wants to make a statement. He’s been playing well for the Rockets because he’s just a guy who makes plays and the Rockets need anything they can get out of their frontcourt. I love Faried on Friday based on his recent play and the matchup. He’ll be looking for a big game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
