FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 1, 2019
High Value C
Players costing $6,667 or under
Dewayne Dedmon (at UTA – $6,000): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.3 fantasy points against Sacramento. Dedmon was down in his last game but there’s reason to think he’ll bounce back in this one. The Jazz are a tough matchup but they also present frontcourt option, which should help Dedmon’s minutes go up. And he’s at a good salary. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
Mitchell Robinson (vs BOS – $5,000): Needs22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.4 fantasy points against Dallas. Robinson is getting some of the minutes in the Knicks frontcourt and he’s making the most of those minutes right now. As I’ve said throughout these slides, I don’t know what to make of the Knicks. But if Robinson is going to eat up the frontcourt minutes then you may as well grab him. Diagnosis: An option.
Nerlens Noel (at MIA – $4,200): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.9 fantasy points against Orlando. If Steven Adams doesn’t play, you can take Noel with confidence. He’s going to play big minutes at the center position for the Thunder and he’s surrounded by enough talent to where his talent can shine. Even if you’re looking for a low-cost option with Adams in the lineup, Noel plays decent enough minutes and has a habit of simply making plays. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if he starts.
