High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at DEN – $13,600): Needs 58.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 69.2 fantasy points against New Orleans. It’s Harden. And Chris Paul might be out again. So this will be an easy take. The matchup is tough but I’m not doubting Harden and he’s always good for at least 50 fantasy points. They’ll need every bit of his scoring if they want to keep up with the Nuggets in this game. And again, I am not doubting Harden. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs ATL – $8,800): Needs 38 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Portland. And if you don’t want to quite spend on Harden, you can go with Mitchell. He and the Jazz had a rough game against the Blazers but there’s reason to think they’ll bounce back in this one. The Hawks aren’t good and the Jazz are great at home. Mitchell will deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jeremy Lamb (vs MEM – $5,700): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 11.5 fantasy points against Boston. There’s a big drop between Mitchell and Lamb but Lamb is now the next highest salary player on the list. He’s been up-and-down over the last couple of weeks. He was down against the Grizzlies so if the trend continues, he’ll be up in this one. He had 26.8 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 23 if you’re looking for some confidence. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.
