Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (at MIA – $5,000): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.6 fantasy points against Orlando. Schroder has played well in his last two games and now he has a good matchup against the Heat. I’m going to trust him to continue this good stretch but he has been all over the place this season. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him, which is the good news. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Kevin Huerter (at UTA – $4,700): Needs 20.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.8 fantasy points against Sacramento. Huerter has been good more often than not in the last month, which is the good news. The bad news is that this is a tough matchup, especially given how the Jazz should play after a bad loss to the Blazers. But he’s at a good salary and still gets the opportunities to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Monte Morris (vs HOU – $4,500): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.9 fantasy points against New Orleans. Morris was in the starting lineup against the Pelicans and he delivered in a big way. If he starts again, take him with confidence. With Murray out, a point guard is going to deliver, especially with Barton still struggling to find his rhythm. And the matchup is a good one given the state of the Houston defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
