FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Feb. 2, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Steph Curry (vs LAL – $9,500): Needs 41.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.8 fantasy points against Philadelphia. LeBron is back for the Lakers but you don’t think that the Warriors want to make a point in this one? And Curry was shooting hot against the Sixers. I love this game for Curry. He and the Warriors will likely play their full lineup and they’ll be out for blood. He’s been reliable all season and he’ll get numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Trae Young (at PHO – $7,400): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.1 fantasy points against Utah. Young is coming off a good game against a tough Utah team, which is the good news. And now he gets the Suns, which is the even better news. He’s been playing well lately and it’s the Suns. The scoring and assists should be there in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Rajon Rondo (at GS – $6,900): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.1 fantasy points against LA Clippers. LeBron being in the lineup definitely helps Rondo’s value as he has a reliable option to pass to and he has a reliable option to get him the ball. He had 36 fantasy points in the Christmas Day game against the Warriors. And I know Rondo will bring it in the matchup when I’m not so sure about the young Lakers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
