5 takeaways from snore fest that was Super Bowl 53

1. Tom Brady is the GOAT
Love him or hate him, one must finally give Tom Brady his props as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.
Brady didn’t play the perfect game. He only threw for 262 yards on 35-of-21 passing with one interception and no touchdowns. Oh, and he had a quarterback passer rating of 78.8, which is one of the lowest of his career.
But Brady is the personification of a great player who knows that he doesn’t have to play the greatest game to be great. He just has to be great when it was needed the most, and, on Sunday, that’s exactly what he did.
Edelman, the MVP, caught most of his passes at times when it was desperately in need, and Brady knew just when to throw those passes to keep the Rams defense, which had a great game, off guard at just the right moments. That’s what separates the good quarterbacks from the great.
This marks Brady’s sixth Super Bowl victory, which means it’s impossible not to say that Brady is, by far, the GOAT.
And that isn’t even up for debate. Hit me up on Twitter if you feel differently.
