High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Marc Gasol (at NY – $7,800): Needs 36.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Charlotte. I don’t know what’s going on in Memphis. Gasol isn’t the most reliable high salary option in the first place but now maybe his minutes aren’t going to be there. It’s the Knicks, so one would think that it’s not going to matter and he’ll easily hit value. But I just don’t know with the Grizzlies right now. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

Steven Adams (at BOS – $6,100): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.25 fantasy points against Miami. If you’re looking for a more reliable option than Gasol, but one with a lower ceiling, Adams is your guy. He never lacks for minutes and opportunities and he’ll need a big game if the Thunder hope to defeat the Celtics. He’s at a good salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (vs LAC – $6,000): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Or you can go with Ibaka, who is just as reliable as Adams and has the higher ceiling. He’s been outstanding this season for the Raptors and I have little doubt about his game right now. He had 45.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 11. I love everything about Ibaka in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
