High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Mitchell Robinson (vs MEM – $4,800): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.6 fantasy points against Boston. One final time. I don’t know what you’re getting out of the Knicks. If DeAndre Jordan ends up playing, it’s possible that Mitchell never leaves the bench. Even if he does leave the bench, this salary might be too high given his usual production. Diagnosis: An option.

Nerlens Noel (at BOS – $4,500): Needs 20 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.4 fantasy points against Miami. I continue to like Noel’s game as he plays decent enough minutes and just finds a way to impact the game. With Adams in the lineup he doesn’t play huge minutes but this feels like a game where he’s going to come up with a handful of plays and do enough to give you some value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable.

Joakim Noah (at NY – $3,900): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.2 fantasy points against Charlotte. It’s a revenge game for Noah. Then again, he should be pretty friendly towards the Knicks given that they paid him and didn’t play him and then paid him to go play elsewhere. He’s been playing well coming off the bench for the Grizzlies. But again, I don’t have a read on this game. I would think Noah will make some sort of impact but nothing is guaranteed in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
