High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Russell Westbrook (at BOS – $11,700): Needs 51 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.4 fantasy points against Miami. You typically know what you’re getting from Westbrook. Especially in these big games where his minutes are likely to be high. He’s always good for numbers in all categories and finds a way to deliver even more in these high profile matchups. You can always build around Westbrook with confidence and get guaranteed fantasy points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (vs OKC – $10,400): Needs 45.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46 fantasy points against New York. Kyrie has been on a roll lately and I have no concern about him against the Thunder. The Thunder have a good defense but Kyrie is scoring and playmaking the best of his career right now. I expect that to continue on Sunday afternoon. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (vs LAC – $8,100): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.3 fantasy points against Milwaukee. It was a rough outing for Lowry against the Bucks but he had been playing well prior to that game and I will trust him to bounce back. The matchup is good given that the Clippers are on a back-to-back. Lowry has been a bit inconsistent this season and the hope is that the Bucks game was not the start of another slump and just one bad night. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
