High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (vs OKC – $5,200): Needs 22 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.6 fantasy points against New York. Hayward has looked good in his last two games but we’ve seen him be all over the place this season. He’s at a good salary but he doesn’t exactly play guaranteed minutes and he’s just been too inconsistent this season for me to fully trust him. But maybe he’s turning the corner? He’s a risk with a little upside. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a decent ceiling.

Kevin Knox (vs MEM – $5,100): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Boston. If DSJ and Wes Matthews end up playing, then it’s a different story for Knox. But if they are out, this will continue to be Knox’s team. Even if the new guys plays, the Knicks are going with the young guys and Knox is the most talented one of the bunch. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Bruno Caboclo (at NY – $4,000): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.3 fantasy points against Charlotte. He continues to play solid minutes and make somewhat of an impact. Once again, I have no real read on this game. But Caboclo is at a good salary and the Knicks, even with their new players, aren’t a very good basketball team. He’s a nice salary saver who should get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable.
