High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at BKN – $10,900): Needs 48.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against Washington. It’s Giannis. You always know what you’re getting from Giannis. I actually like him slightly more than Harden on Monday because I’m worried Harden and the Rockets will blowout the Suns. Meanwhile, even in a blowout, Giannis is going to deliver his typical numbers. You can never go wrong with Giannis and building around him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (at SAC – $7,500): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. DeRozan still hasn’t looked quite right since he missed a couple of games but it’s a rough night at the small forward. The good news is that DeRozan will have a nice opportunity to bounce back with a strong game because of the Kings pace. I trust DeRozan to at least get value in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Buddy Hield (vs SA – $6,700): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Hield has not only found his shooting touch in recent games but he’s finally doing more in other categories. It’s been a big boost to his value and overall game. The matchup is tough because the Spurs are the Spurs but I like Hield’s game right now and he’s a slightly more attractive option than DeRozan. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
