High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at PHO – $13,800): Needs 59.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 89.9 fantasy points against Utah. It’s James Harden against the Suns. You have to hope that this game is somewhat competitive in order for him to hit his value because if it turns ugly, this is the perfect game to actually get Harden some rest. It’s also the perfect game for other players on the Rockets to take the load off Harden. But it could be the perfect game for Harden to get 80. Points. Not fantasy points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling that could be limited in a blowout.

Bradley Beal (vs ATL – $9,300): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.3 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Beal was down against the Bucks but don’t be worried. The Hawks are a much easier matchup and Beal has played very well against them this season, averaging 48.3 fantasy points in three games against them. Beal will have a strong game, doing a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at BKN – $6,800): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.4 fantasy points against Washington. There’s a lot to like at the shooting guard position. Holiday is a reliable option given the matchup and Booker has a high ceiling with a good matchup. If you don’t want to spend on Beal or Harden, both of those guys make for strong players. And if you want to save a bit of money, Middleton is a reliable option with a good matchup as well. Especially if Bledsoe is out once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
