Defensive Tackle. Clemson. Christian Wilkins. 21. player. 36.

The Seattle Seahawks were one of those teams this past season that did not have very high expectations going into the year, as they had a lot of change in both coaching and player personnel. However, the Seahawks do have one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL in Russell Wilson, and he took it upon himself to lead this team back to the playoffs in 2018.

With Wilson under center, the Seahawks played some of their best football down the stretch, clinching a spot in the Wild Card round. Although they would eventually lose to the Dallas Cowboys on the road, it may have been the best coaching performance by head coach Pete Carroll, who led this team to a Super Bowl title a few years back.

As they enter 2019, the Seahawks are not going to sneak up on anybody, and need to make sure that they keep adding talent on the defensive side of the ball. One player they should look to target this late in round one is Christian Wilkins from Clemson, who is one of the more devastatingly talented defensive tackles in this draft class.

Seattle should be a team that is back in the running for a playoff spot in 2019, as they certainly have the talent on both sides of the ball to get the job done. While their defense may never again resemble the Legion of Boom defense from years past, they do have some solid young players on that side of the ball, and they are only going to get better from here.
