WWE SmackDown! Live preview February 5: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the February 5, 2019 edition of WWE “SmackDown! Live.”
The Road to WrestleMania makes a stop in Pennsylvania this week, as WWE SmackDown! Live comes to you on the USA Network. Three matches have been announced for a full night of action, as we continue to see the fallout from the Royal Rumble.
We know that WWE Champion Daniel Bryan will defend his title in Houston at the Elimination Chamber pay per view event in two weeks. But after showing zero respect to his opponents for that match, one of them will get a shot at retribution. Bryan goes one-on-one with Jeff Hardy in a non-title match. Can Hardy pick up some much-needed momentum against the “new” Daniel Bryan, or will the champion silence one of his challengers ahead of their chamber showdown?
Speaking of Elimination Chamber challengers, two more of Bryan’s opponents will face off in singles action this week. Mustafa Ali, who has exploded as one of SmackDown! Live’s hottest young superstars, will face off against former champion and ultra-tough Randy Orton. A win for either man could set him apart from the rest of the field as we creep towards WrestleMania.

Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Venue: Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza

After several weeks of feuding, two former United States Champions will try to coexist this week. Nakamura and Rusev were challenged a week ago by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who were upset with the former champions’ treatment of R-Truth. Rusev gave Nakamura a stern warning not to cross him, so it will be very interesting to see how well they work together, if even at all.
The Road to WrestleMania is the most exciting time of year for WWE, as so much can change across the company over the next few weeks. All you can do is sit back and see what happens next.
