High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Joel Embiid (vs TOR – $10,500): Needs 49.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. Embiid has been a force this season. And while this is a tough matchup that he hasn’t played great against this season, I’m going to trust him in this matchup. The Sixers are back at home after a west coast trip and should feed off the Philly energy in this big game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (at OKC – $9,600): Needs 44.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Vucevic has been over 50 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He had 54.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City on Jan. 29 but didn’t have to deal with Steven Adams in that game. I still maintain that Adams gets dominated by white centers with last names ending in C. Trust me, it’s a thing. I have a gut feeling about Vucevic in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Myles Turner (vs LAL – $6,500): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. Turner continues to be a reliable option for the Pacers and now he gets the Lakers frontcourt. I have no concerns with Turner’s game right now and if you’re looking for a relatively low-cost option with a great matchup and the ability to deliver a big game, this is going to be that game and this is your option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
