DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 5, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Russell Westbrook (vs ORL – $11,400): Needs 53.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 68 fantasy points against Boston. It’s Russell Westbrook. He just had 66 fantasy points against the Magic a week ago. And now the Thunder is back at home and you know Russ isn’t happy with how the Boston game ended. He’ll be out to prove a point in this game. I don’t know what that point is going to be but I know that Westbrook is going to put up big numbers in the process. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Damian Lillard (vs MIA – $8,900): Needs 41.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 68 fantasy points against Utah. Lillard has been fantastic over the last couple of weeks and he typically plays well against the Heat. He had 61.75 fantasy points against them on Oct. 27. And the Heat is traveling cross country, which means that they probably won’t have their legs for this one. It could turn into a blowout, which is the only real concern in this one. But Lillard will get it done. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Mike Conley (vs MIN – $8,200): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against New York. Conley is playing like a guy who either wants to stay in Memphis because he loves the city or desperately wants out so he can prove how good he is on a contender. Whatever it is, it’s working. He’s been fantastic in recent weeks and now he has a good matchup against the Timberwolves. He does a bit of everything and should deliver in what could be his last game with Memphis. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
