DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 5, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Alec Burks (vs BOS – $5,100): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Burks has been strong for the Cavaliers in his last five games, going over 27 fantasy points in each contest. The Celtics are a tough matchup but the loss of Irving hurts them a tad and someone has to put up numbers for the Cavaliers. Burks has been getting the job done and gets plenty of minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jaylen Brown (at CLE – $4,900): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. No Kyrie means more Jaylen. He’s started to play better as of late and his minutes should be up in this one for a couple of reasons. First, this could get ugly and Brown will see more minutes as a result. Second, as mentioned, no Kyrie means more Jaylen. He’ll get you value if nothing else. But expect more. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Reggie Bullock (at NY – $4,200): Needs 19 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Denver. Bullock has played well in the last couple of games. And now he gets the Knicks. It’s a back-to-back for the Pistons and I don’t exactly trust the Pistons. But come on. It’s the Knicks. And it’s a Knicks team that is still trying to work in some new pieces that might not be there in a week. Bullock is at a good salary given his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
