DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 5, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Blake Griffin (at NY – $8,800): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Denver. Blake was down against the Nuggets but it was Drummond who picked him up. Blake has been more reliable than Drummond all season and while both are desirable given the matchup, I still like Blake more just due to his ability to get numbers in more categories and overall reliability. It’s the Knicks. Blake will get it done. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Al Horford (at CLE – $6,600): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Horford continues to play great for the Celtics and now with Kyrie out of the lineup, more offense will run through him. His minutes might be down as this could be a blowout but maybe the Cavaliers will be scrappy enough to keep it close. Even in limited minutes, Hereford should deliver given the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Pascal Siakam (at PHI – $6,300): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against LA Clippers. It was a blowout against the Clippers so you can throw that number out the window. Siakam has been very good against the Sixers this season, averaging 36.1 fantasy points in three games against them. He’s at a very good salary compared to the rest of the field and I love this matchup for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
