Players costing $6,250 or under

Larry Nance Jr (vs BOS – $5,800): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Nance Jr is starting to get his minutes back up and he’s delivered. He’s a better option than Zizic and with Tristan Thompson still out, he’s going to be the go-to guy for the Cavaliers in their frontcourt. The matchup is tough but someone has to put up numbers for Cleveland in this position and Nance Jr has been that guy. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (vs LAL – $5,600): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. I had a feeling Monday was going to be the return of Sabonis and Monday was the return of Sabonis. Sometimes I know what I’m talking about. And this is another good matchup for Sabonis because the Lakers are not only weak in the frontcourt, especially if LeBron is out, but all their guys are on the trade block. I don’t know what you’re getting from the Lakers in this one. But I know Sabonis is going to hurt them. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs LAC – $4,900): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Chicago. Williams has been a bit inconsistent in recent weeks but I like this matchup for him and think he’ll deliver with a strong outing. He had 27.75 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 8. His scoring numbers have been good and I expect his rebounding numbers to tick up a bit in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
