High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Darren Collison (vs LAL – $6,400): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.8 fantasy points against New Orleans. Collison has found his rhythm without Oladipo and continues to deliver strong outings. It’s a back-to-back for the Pacers but the Lakers are…well…I don’t know what the Lakers are right now. Everyone could be traded. Everyone has been offered in a trade. At least the Pacers have a sense of togetherness. The Lakers. Yeah. Your guess is as good as mine. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at CHA – $6,400): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Toronto. SAG has found his rhythm in the last few games and hopefully he’s over the rookie wall. The minutes are there for him right now and I love this matchup because the Hornets play with pace and no defense. SAG had 33.6 fantasy points against Charlotte on Jan. 8. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jerryd Bayless (at MEM – $5,900): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.6 fantasy points against Denver. As long as Bayless is the only point guard on the roster, you can keep taking him with confidence. It’s sort of a chalk night at point guard value but there is good value at other positions that will help you spend at point guard. Bayless has been fantastic as the starter and even though the Grizzlies can make things sloppy, someone has to get these numbers for Minnesota at point. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
