High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brandon Ingram (at IND – $6,400): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.3 fantasy points against Golden State. I don’t like Ingram’s game but he’s been playing well as of late and I do like this matchup. The problem is, if LeBron plays, it turns out that his game doesn’t fit next to LeBron and he doesn’t see the same opportunities. If LeBron doesn’t play, you can take him with confidence. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling if LeBron doesn’t play.

Jonathan Isaac (at OKC – $5,800): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Isaac continues to play well for the Magic. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in four straight and six of his last seven. That includes a 31.1 fantasy point game against the Thunder on Jan. 29. He’s playing well and the matchup is good as he has the type of skill who typically troubles OKC. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Knox (vs DET – $5,100): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.4 fantasy points against Memphis. Even though Knox was down against the Grizzlies, I’m not concerned. The minutes will continue to be there and he’ll start to get it together alongside DSJ. And this feels like a letdown game for the Pistons after a big win against the Nuggets. Beating the Nuggets and then losing to the Knicks would be a total Pistons thing to do this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
