High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Larry Nance Jr (vs BOS – $6,300): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.9 fantasy points against Dallas. With Cedi out and Nance Jr returning to health, he’s becoming the top option again in the Cleveland frontcourt. The matchup isn’t great because the Celtics are the Celtics but someone has to get numbers in the Cleveland frontcourt and Nance Jr has been the top option in recent outings. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marcus Morris (at CLE – $5,500): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.9 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Morris continues to play a reliable game and with Kyrie out of the lineup, he’ll see more opportunities to go along with his usual minutes. There is some blowout concern here but even in a blowout, Morris should get at least value in this one. He had 27.1 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Cavaliers on Jan. 23. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling if the game is close.

Myers Leonard (vs MIA – $3,800): Needs 16.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.2 fantasy points against Utah. If Nurkic is out and Leonard draws the start, you can take him with confidence. Someone has to get the numbers in Portland’s frontcourt and Leonard will be that option if he draws the start. He’s at a great salary given what he could produce if the circumstances are right. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
