NC State vs. North Carolina live stream: Watch college basketball online

The North Carolina Tar Heels face off with the rival NC State Wolfpack for the second time this season, looking to sweep their ACC basketball foes.

Early on in ACC play, the North Carolina Tar Heels suffered an embarrassing loss to Louisville. However, this past weekend they avenged that loss in emphatic fashion with a rout of the Cardinals. On Tuesday night, they face another repeat ACC opponent, this time taking on the NC State Wolfpack, who are coming off one of the worst losses in school history.

In a brutally ugly loss to Virginia Tech, NC State managed just 24 points for the entire game against the Hokies. Naturally, they weren’t even close to being in the game, losing by 20+ points to the VT in the game. The likes of C.J. Bryce and the rest of Kevin Keatts team is better than they showed in that one, but they need to put that one display against UNC.

On the other hand, North Carolina is really starting to hit their stride. While Luke Maye continues to struggle, Coby White continues to develop into a star while the likes of Cam Johnson, Kenny Williams and even Nassir Little off the bench contribute in big ways. The Tar Heels aren’t perfect, but they keep improving as the year goes on.

When these rivals met for the first time this season, North Carolina ran past the NC State defense for a tough, hard-fought win. The Wolfpack will undoubtedly be fiery after their embarrassment at the hands of Virginia Tech, but it’s hard to say if it’ll be enough to topple the Heels.

The last time out for these two teams, it was the complete opposite end of the spectrum. North Carolina looked like an ACC contender while NC State looked like a complete and total nobody. However, the first matchup between these two rivals was close, so we’ll see if the Wolfpack can bounce back and make a statement against the Tar Heels.
