One year after a botched contract situation with the Carolina Panthers due to a strange injury, Bashaud Breeland is set to recoup his lost earnings. His brief stint with the Green Bay Packers highlighted his ability as a starter. He’s a good No. 2 corner who specializes in man coverage, but can play zone adequately.

The 27-year-old is a capable run-defender and brings the size (5’11”) that teams desire. He’s a good option for teams unwilling to spend on a star but need a reliable, experienced coverage man. If Prince Amukamara can get $9 million per year, Breeland should as well.

Projected deal: Three years, $27 million

Best fits: Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos
